Congratulations to Connor Lewis of the LMVSC Patriots 2006 Boys Blue, our LMVSC Travel Player of the Week.

Connor, playing with Coach Vincent Vergamini, and the 2006 Boys Blue in a NCSL League match against SMS Scorpions at Edison High School Stadium Field, scored two great goals and was virtually unstoppable and attack, and relentless in his persistence to help his team.

Even though his team narrowly lost any 4 to 3 game, Connor’s commitment to the team and to the cause exemplifies the club’s core values.

According to Coach Vincent, “Connor has an amazing work-rate and incredible fitness.  He is also a very fast player, both on and off the ball. This causes nightmares for the opponents. He has been improving week-in week-out, and in our final game of the season, he was absolutely incredible.”

Connor has been playing soccer for the past seven years.  His favorite team is DC United, and his favorite player is the recently released DC United homegrown talent, Jalen Robinson.

Connor’s favorite part of the game is the competitive aspect.  Competition helps him to strive to become a better soccer player.

Connor’s most memorable moment and soccer is one his favorite soccer coach came to watch one of his games, and he was able to implement one of the techniques she taught him during training.

Connor attends Hayfield Secondary School, and his favorite subject is Math. His favorite restaurant is Olive Garden and he loves to visit New Hampshire.
