    FULL TIME & PART-TIME TRAVEL COACH POSITIONS – OVERVIEW

    LMVSC is seeking a motivated and qualified Travel Soccer Coach to join our dedicated coaching staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong coaching background, a passion for player development, and the ability to inspire and mentor youth soccer players. The Travel Soccer Coach will be responsible for coaching and developing players within the travel soccer program, fostering a positive team culture, and contributing to the overall success of the club.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Team Coaching:

    • Lead and conduct regular training sessions for assigned travel soccer teams
    • Emphasize skill development, tactical understanding, and sportsmanship
    • Follow club’s curriculum

    Player Development:

    • Provide individualized coaching to players, focusing on technical skills, decision-making, and positional play
    • Conduct player assessments and track individual progress throughout the season

    Game Strategy and Analysis:

    • Develop and implement game strategies that align with the club’s & team’s playing style
    • Analyze game footage and provide constructive feedback to players to enhance performance

    Communication:

    • Maintain open and effective communication with players, parents, and club administrators.
    • Organize regular team meetings to discuss goals, expectations, and address any concerns.

    Player Mentoring:

    • Serve as a mentor and positive role model for players, promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect
    • Foster and implement the club’s core culture

    Administrative Responsibilities:

    • Work closely with club staff on scheduling, facilities, and equipment needs
    • Responsive to emails & request from club’s staff

    Compliance:

    • Ensure compliance with all club policies, rules, and regulations
    • Maintain accurate player and team records
    • Maintain club’s standard & expectations
    • Report all parent, player, team issues to technical staff
    • Attend Club’s Coaching Education Workshop & Coaches Meeting
    • Complete Match Report, Player Evaluations

    Qualifications:

    • USSF or equivalent coaching license
    • Proven experience coaching youth soccer, preferably in a travel soccer environment
    • Eligible to work in the United States
    • Proficient in English language
    • Proficient use of email

    DIRECTOR OF GOALKEEPING – OVERVIEW

    LMVSC is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Goalkeeping to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing goalkeepers at various skill levels, from youth to elite levels. The Director of Goalkeeping will play a key role in designing and implementing goalkeeper training programs, providing coaching expertise, and fostering a positive and supportive environment for goalkeepers within the club.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Curriculum Development:

    • Design and implement a comprehensive goalkeeper training curriculum that aligns with the club’s overall player development philosophy.
    • Create age-appropriate training sessions & programs to develop technical, tactical, and psychological aspects of goalkeeping.

    Coaching and Training:

    • Conduct regular goalkeeper training sessions for various age groups within the club.
    • Provide individualized coaching to goalkeepers, focusing on skill development, decision-making, and game management.
    • Collaborate with other coaches to integrate goalkeeping strategies into overall team tactics (for example, coaching education for travel coaches).

    Player Assessment:

    • Evaluate goalkeepers’ strengths and areas for improvement through regular assessments.
    • Provide constructive feedback to goalkeepers and collaborate with them to set and achieve performance goals.

    Scouting:

    • Identify talented goalkeepers from our programs (camps, clinics, rec) to enhance the overall goalkeeping program.

    Communication:

    • Maintain open and transparent communication with goalkeepers, parents, and coaching staff.
    • Organize regular meetings to discuss progress, goals, and any concerns within the goalkeeping program.

    Professional Development:

    • Stay current with the latest trends, techniques, and advancements in goalkeeping coaching.
    • Attend relevant coaching seminars, workshops, and conferences to enhance coaching knowledge and skills.

    Administrative Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the organization and coordination of goalkeeping events, camps, and clinics.

    DIRECTOR OF COACHES POSITION – OVERVIEW

    Position Overview: to develop and improve Staff Coaches so that players maximize their potential at all ages.

    Position Requirements:

    • Ensuring Travel Soccer Coaches are administratively informed and in compliance of Club Policies and Procedures
    • Monitor and access the LMVSC coach’s standards and expectations.
    • Observe and work with coaches during their training sessions. Sessions for teams vary from Mondays to Friday from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
    • Collaborate with TD on coaching education
    • Travel League Scheduling, rescheduling, managing referee assignor, master schedule maintenance.
    • Field lining, relining maintenance, frequently monitoring LMVSC’s training, and game day equipment to include: nets, corner flags, sandbags
    • Manage player and coach evaluations: Collect Data for all Club surveys
    • Collaborate with TD to determine action plan for all programs
    • Attend games, observe, provide coaches game feedback
    • Communication with Staff Coaches, Team Manager Interaction, and Team Status
    • Step-in for staff coaches on game day that have unforeseen conflicts or unexpected illness
    • Assist with organizing and supervising all tryouts, placements, and selections
    • Will be responsible for assuring that Coaches are executing biannual player evaluation, meeting benchmarks, and working through player remediation, as it relates to non-technical components.
