LMVSC Volunteers
Our Club is always looking for people to help us enrich our players’ experience. Coaches, referees, scorekeepers, event staff, we welcome all those who want to make a difference in their communities. No experience is required as our staff will always help guide you. Contact us today and join our amazing community!
Current Opportunities
General Volunteer
Not sure how to help but want to get involved? Do you have previous experience but don’t see any options that match? We still want to hear from you! LMVSC hosts multiple events every year, from our Breast Cancer Fundraising Game in 2019 to our seasonal in person sign ups. We’re always looking for people who want to help us grow and help their community.
How to get involved:

Soccer Coach
Coach in our Fall, or Spring Recreational Soccer league. Guide your players through a fun-filled season. No Experience is needed! Seasons are usually 6 to 10 weeks. Teams train once or twice a week at a location of your choosing. Games are typically on Saturday with occasional Sunday games.
How to get involved:

- If you have created a Demosphere Online Registration Account with us before, please use your email and password to login and select “Register Team Staff / Volunteer” button.
- If you are New to the club and do not have a Demosphere Online Registration Account with us, you will have to create one. Please select the “Create an Account” button. Once you’ve created your account, please select “Register Team Staff / Volunteer” button to complete your coaching registration.
- Complete your SafeSport Training
- Seasonal Materials will be sent to you (Schedules, Rules, relevant information)
- Request your training space

High School Age Volunteers
Looking for community services hours? Want to help the next generation of LMVSC Soccer, Flag Football, LAX and Basketball players learn to love the game the same way you do? Volunteering with LMVSC is a fun way to give back and learn leadership skills all at once.

Soccer Referees
We’re always looking for referees to help with our Recreational Soccer leagues. After earning your certification, you get to choose how many games you want to work each weekend. A great way to help the game and earn a some money.
How to get involved:

Volunteer Building Director
Each basketball team is required to have one parent certified by the Fairfax County Department of Community and Recreation Services (CRS) as a Volunteer Building Director (VBD). The Volunteer Building Director ensures that County Rules are followed on weekends when there is only one custodian assigned to the building.

Travel Team Manager
All our travel soccer teams use volunteer managers to help get the team organized for registration, tournaments, and fundraising.

Walk Up Registration Volunteers
Periodically, LMVSC holds walk up registration events for our different programs. We are always looking for people to help make these events run as smoothly as possible. Our staff will always be on hand to guide you.

Recreational Player Director
Our Recreational Soccer and Basketball programs both employ the help of volunteers to help us form teams every season. As we use a request and neighborhood criteria for forming teams, it’s their job to sort through and make sure players get to play with their friends every season. Once the season begins, player directors are also a point of contact for coaches when questions arise.
