RECREATIONAL BASKETBALL
Playing basketball with neighborhood friends and classmates
League Information
Our recreational basketball leagues run twice a year. Our primary season is the winter season. In the summer we hold a condensed season.
REGISTRATION FOR SUMMER 2023 IS NOW OPEN!
WINTER SEASON: Teams have one practice per week and one game on the weekend. The season consists of eight games played on the weekends. At the end of the regular season, we hold an end-of-season tournament.
SUMMER SEASON: Teams typically have one practice before the games start, and games will start immediately the following week. The season consists of five games played on weeknights. There are no standings nor an end-of-season tournament.
Players are placed in divisions based on their grade during the school year (2022-23 school year). Players are placed on teams with their classmates and neighborhood friends. If there is space on a particular team, we also accept requests to play with friends outside of your player’s school and neighborhood. Although we try, we cannot guarantee we can honor player requests. Requests and player placements are prioritized on a date-of-registration basis. Volunteer coaches help make LMVSC recreational basketball a blast for everyone!
