Recreational Soccer Program Information

    REGISTRATION FEES:

    Pre-K – 1st Grade: Early Bird – $85.00 June 9 to July 2nd, 2023   Regular Fee – $110.00 after July 2nd, 2023

    2nd- 6th Grade:    Early Bird – $95.00 June 9 to July 2nd, 2023    Regular Fee – $120.00 after July 2nd, 2023

    7th-12th Grade:    Early Bird – $105.00 June 9 to July 2nd, 2023  Regular Fee – $130.00 after July 2nd, 2023

    FINANCIAL AID: ·  Financial Aid is available on request to players that qualify for Fairfax County Free or Reduced-price school lunches and or on Medicaid.

    DIVISIONS:

    PRE-K SOCCER

    Pre-K players must have turned 4 years old before September 1, 2023 and are not yet in Kindergarten.

    Pre-K teams are formed with up to 7 players per team. Teams may have one practice a week and are scheduled six games per season.

    The Pre-K game format is 3 vs 3 (no Goalkeeper).

    KINDERGARTEN SOCCER

    Kindergarten players should be in Kindergarten (2023 – 24 school year).

    Kindergarten teams are formed with up to 8 players per team.  Teams may have one practice a week and are scheduled six games per season.

    The Kindergarten game format is 4 vs 4 (no Goalkeeper).

    1st GRADE SOCCER

    1st Grade players should be in 1st Grade (2023 – 24 school year).

    1st Grade teams are formed with up to 8 players per team.  Teams may have one practice a week and are scheduled six games per season.

    The 1st grade game format is 4 vs 4 (no Goalkeeper).

    2nd GRADE SOCCER

    2nd Grade players should be in 2nd Grade (2023 – 24 school year).

    2nd Grade teams are formed with up to 10 players per team.  Teams may have one practice a week and are scheduled eight games per season.

    The 2nd Grade game format is 6 vs 6 (5 + Goalkeeper).

    3rd GRADE SOCCER

    3rd Grade players should be in 3rd Grade (2023 – 24 school year).

    3rd Grade teams are formed with up to 12 players per team.  Teams may have two practices a week and are scheduled eight games per season.

    The 3rd Grade game format is 7 vs 7 (6 + Goalkeeper).

    4th GRADE SOCCER

    4th Grade players should be in 4th Grade (2023 – 24 school year).

    4th Grade teams are formed with up to 12 players per team.  Teams may have two practices a week and are scheduled eight games per season.

    The 4th Grade game format is 7 vs 7 (6 + Goalkeeper).

    5th GRADE SOCCER

    5th Grade players should be in 5th Grade (2023 – 24 school year).

    5th Grade teams are formed with up to 14 players per team.  Teams may have two practices a week and are scheduled eight games per season.

    The 5th Grade game format is 9 vs 9 (8 + Goalkeeper).

    6th GRADE SOCCER

    6th Grade players should be in 6th Grade (2023 – 24 school year).

    6th Grade teams are formed with up to 14 players per team.  Teams may have two practices a week and are scheduled eight games per season.

    The 6th Grade game format is 9 vs 9 (8 + Goalkeeper).

    7th/8th GRADE SOCCER

    7th/8th Grade players should be in 7th Grade and or 8th Grade (2023 – 24 school year).

    Teams are formed with up to 18 players per team.  Teams may have two practices a week and are scheduled eight games per season.

    Game format is 11 vs 11 (10 + Goalkeeper).

    HIGH SCHOOL AGE GROUPS (u16, u17 and u18)

    High school grade teams formed with up to 20 players peer team. Teams may have two practices a week

    Team play in the Suburban Friendship League (SFL) and form teams based on birth years.  The age of the team, and the division the team plays in, is based on the age of the oldest player on the team.

    Teams are scheduled nine (9) games by the SFL and must follow all rules and procedures established by the SFL.
