9 LMVSC Players Selected to play in the WORLD YOUTH CUP in Sweden!

The Gothia Cup is regarded as the WORLD YOUTH CUP and the largest youth soccer tournament in the world, attracting more than 1700 teams from over 80 nations!!  This year, the tournament will take place from July 15 – July 21 in Gothenburg, Sweden.  This event will be even more special, the opening day of this major tournament will take place on the same day as the World Cup Finals!!

Through an ID Selection process, including several tryouts, match evaluations and Coach/Director referrals,  players are selected and offered an opportunity to participate in this extraordinary experience.  CCL United provides the top CCL players with the opportunity to compete in the Gothia Cup on an annual basis.  This year, CCL United will be sending four (4) teams:  2001 Boys, 2001 Girls, 2002 Boys & 2002 Girls.  This opportunity for our players is one-of-a-kind, where they will be competing in the Elite division at the tournament, playing against top youth academies throughout the world.
