LMVSC Announces New Position within their Club: Director of Youth Development Programs (DOYDP)

David Camara in Charge of Maintaining Direction and Initiatives for the LMVSC Developmental U4-U18 Soccer Programs

Alexandria, VA – The Lee Mount Vernon Sports Club (LMVSC) is excited to welcome David Camara as the new Director of Youth Development Programs (DOYDP) starting July 1, 2020. He will be responsible for establishing and maintaining direction and initiatives for the Youth Development Soccer Programs between the ages of 4-18 years of age. As the DOYDP, David will be responsible for developing new programs and maintaining the success of the Youth Development Programs to include U7/U8 Academy and seasonal instructional clinics.

David had the following to say on accepting his new role with LMVSC, “I’m really excited for this new role with LMVSC to continue to grow the club’s Developmental Soccer Program. I’m really looking forward to working with the staff and coaches in order to continue LMVSC’s rightfully rich history of placing players at the National and International Level.”

David currently holds his United Soccer Coaches (formerly NSCAA) Advanced National Diploma. He brings a little over 20 years of coaching at the Club level of competition and 7 years combined of professional and semi-professional soccer playing experience. David will be a true asset to all LMVSC Soccer programs as he will work collaboratively with all the LMVSC Directors.

LMVSC’s Executive Director, Lula Bauer, had this to say about the new addition to the club, “David Camara has been a positive impact to the soccer community for many years. He is known for ‘Player Development’ throughout the world. What makes David so unique to the soccer industry is his innate way of instilling confidence in every player he coaches”.
