Lee Mount Vernon Sports Club Appoints Club Alumna to Program Manager Role
Alexandria, VA (April 18, 2023): The Lee Mount Vernon Sports Club is pleased to announce the hiring of Keri Johnson as the Program Manager overseeing player development programs for all sports programs. She has an outstanding program management history and a great passion for LMVSC.
“I’ve come full circle; a former player, member, and now LMVSC parent. I’m looking forward to my next chapter working with LMVSC where it’s not just a club, but a family to me,” stated Keri Johnson.
Johnson is a LMVSC alumna, growing up playing soccer as both a recreational and travel player. Johnson attended Shenandoah University studing early childhood education. In following her passion for sport and working with children, Johnson successfully facilitated and managed group activities for children at various LMVSC Summer Camps and Clinics, Spring 2007-Spring 2009. Johnson managed the online database for the co-gender recreational soccer program for E-Division and 1st graders. During that time, she helped coordinate and participate in uniform return nights as well as locker room storage management.
“No doubt, Keri will make an immediate impact on our community player development programs. She joins LMVSC with experience, passion, and knowledge of program operational processes,” stated LMVSC Executive Director, Lula Bauer.
LMVSC is a non-profit organization located in Fairfax County, Virginia. We are committed to providing every child in our community with opportunities to high quality sports leagues, training, and player development programs.
