We’re Hiring – Director of GoalKeeping



LMVSC is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Goalkeeping to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing goalkeepers at various skill levels, from youth to elite levels. The Director of Goalkeeping will play a key role in designing and implementing goalkeeper training programs, providing coaching expertise, and fostering a positive and supportive environment for goalkeepers within the club.




Curriculum Development:

  • Design and implement a comprehensive goalkeeper training curriculum that aligns with the club’s overall player development philosophy.
  • Create age-appropriate training sessions & programs to develop technical, tactical, and psychological aspects of goalkeeping.


Coaching and Training:

  • Conduct regular goalkeeper training sessions for various age groups within the club.
  • Provide individualized coaching to goalkeepers, focusing on skill development, decision-making, and game management.
  • Collaborate with other coaches to integrate goalkeeping strategies into overall team tactics (for example, coaching education for travel coaches).


Player Assessment:

  • Evaluate goalkeepers’ strengths and areas for improvement through regular assessments.
  • Provide constructive feedback to goalkeepers and collaborate with them to set and achieve performance goals.



  • Identify talented goalkeepers from our programs (camps, clinics, rec) to enhance the overall goalkeeping program.



  • Maintain open and transparent communication with goalkeepers, parents, and coaching staff.
  • Organize regular meetings to discuss progress, goals, and any concerns within the goalkeeping program.


Professional Development:

  • Stay current with the latest trends, techniques, and advancements in goalkeeping coaching.
  • Attend relevant coaching seminars, workshops, and conferences to enhance coaching knowledge and skills.


Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the organization and coordination of goalkeeping events, camps, and clinics.
  • Collaborate with the club staff on scheduling, facilities, and equipment needs for goalkeeping activities.
  • Be responsive to club’s email



  • USSF or equivalent coaching license.
  • Proven experience coaching youth soccer, preferably in a travel soccer environment.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.
  • Proficient in English language
  • Proficient use of email

Competitive Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Must be eligible to work in US (US Work permit, Green Card Holder, US Passport)
