FULL TIME TRAVEL COACH POSITION – OVERVIEW
LMVSC is seeking a motivated and qualified Travel Soccer Coach to join our dedicated coaching staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong coaching background, a passion for player development, and the ability to inspire and mentor youth soccer players. The Travel Soccer Coach will be responsible for coaching and developing players within the travel soccer program, fostering a positive team culture, and contributing to the overall success of the club.
Responsibilities:
Team Coaching:
- Lead and conduct regular training sessions for assigned travel soccer teams
- Emphasize skill development, tactical understanding, and sportsmanship
- Follow club’s curriculum
Player Development:
- Provide individualized coaching to players, focusing on technical skills, decision-making, and positional play
- Conduct player assessments and track individual progress throughout the season
Game Strategy and Analysis:
- Develop and implement game strategies that align with the club’s & team’s playing style
- Analyze game footage and provide constructive feedback to players to enhance performance
Communication:
- Maintain open and effective communication with players, parents, and club administrators.
- Organize regular team meetings to discuss goals, expectations, and address any concerns.
Player Mentoring:
- Serve as a mentor and positive role model for players, promoting sportsmanship, teamwork, and respect
- Foster and implement the club’s core culture
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Work closely with club staff on scheduling, facilities, and equipment needs
- Responsive to emails & request from club’s staff
Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all club policies, rules, and regulations
- Maintain accurate player and team records
- Maintain club’s standard & expectations
- Report all parent, player, team issues to technical staff
- Attend Club’s Coaching Education Workshop & Coaches Meeting
- Complete Match Report, Player Evaluations
Qualifications:
- USSF or equivalent coaching license
- Proven experience coaching youth soccer, preferably in a travel soccer environment
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Proficient in English language
- Proficient use of email
